Let It Go… and Write a Review!

Did you enjoy watching Frozen at Pennthorpe Prep School? From the music and performances to the costumes and staging, there was so much to enjoy — and now it’s your chance to share what you thought in the form of a review.

As part of a half-term competition, we are inviting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from Loxwood Primary School who attended the performance to take part in a creative review-writing competition with exciting prizes to be won. This is your opportunity to step into the role of a theatre critic and reflect on the show in your own unique way.

Your review can be written in any style you like. You might choose to write a traditional review, a letter, a diary entry, or something more imaginative. You could describe your favourite scene, talk about a character that stood out, or explain how the performance made you feel. There is no single “right” way to do this — what matters most is that your ideas are clearly expressed and genuinely your own.

To enter the competition, your review should be no longer than one side of A4 and should clearly include your name and class. All entries will be collected directly from Loxwood Primary School on Friday, 27th February, so please ensure your review is completed and ready to hand in by that date.

The winning entries will receive prizes, and selected reviews may also be shared or displayed. We are really looking forward to reading your work and seeing how you bring the magic of Frozen to life through your writing.

Good luck to everyone taking part — we can’t wait to read your reviews! ❄️✨
