As a year group the children have been learning about the Romans this term, and this gave us a chance to celebrate all the wonderful things that we had learnt. The children came into school in very impressive costumes. During the course of the day we did a number of tasks including; pricing a Roman town, designing our own gladiators, creating mosaics and of course marching in formation. We even managed to create an impressive Roman defensive tortoise using the wonderful shields the children made in DT. It was a wonderful day, which the children, and teachers, really enjoyed.
