The children, along with their parents, worked in teams to create the most waterproof shelter for ‘Zork,’ focusing on both functionality and interior design. The activity encouraged creativity and problem-solving as they used natural materials like leaves, branches, and moss.
After the shelters were built, we tested their waterproofing. The children decorated the interiors with found objects, making cozy spaces for ‘Zork.’ We enjoyed delicious s’mores and hot chocolate around the campfire. Everyone got wonderfully muddy, and Ludo added to the fun with his playful antics. It was a day of creativity, teamwork, and outdoor fun that everyone will remember fondly!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Woodland Wisdom!
