The children spent a fabulous day at Butser Ancient Farm (an experimental archaeology site) where they were able to tour the roundhouses and start to get a really good understanding of how the Celts would have spent their days. They had a go at building their own wattle fences before bashing up chalk into powder to make clunch and construct a wall. The children also crafted their own piece of Celtic jewellery.
