This also gave us the perfect opportunity to experience the Spanish tradition of las 12 uvas de la suerte (“the 12 grapes of luck”). On 31st December, people in Spain eat a grape on each strike of the clock at midnight before wishing each other ¡ Feliz Año Nuevo!
