The session explored how to effectively move information and skills from your ‘working memory’ to your ‘long term memory’ whilst practising a variety of methods in which to do this. The children focussed on topics they had studied in the Autumn Term in 8 different subjects so each child created an effective learning product during the session. They later reflected on their learning by completing their Learning Logs in which they considered how to ‘improve their learning’.
