The children started by identifying and locating the different kinds of teeth in the human mouth. They then reflected on the functions of each type of tooth, and whether different animals with different diets would need different teeth. They made some wonderful 3D models of their teeth as a prep task before moving on to consider how to keep their teeth healthy, including investigating how successful they were at brushing. Finally, they wrote instructions to teach others how to maintain good dental and oral hygiene.
