Both Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a Resilience Day yesterday! The first half of the day was spent doing a carousel of 3 challenges. One required the students to build a hammock using limited materials, another was to get a bucket of balls down a hill without touching it, and the third was to get a water bottle out the centre of a square using a select few items. They then did a scavenger hunt, which required them to find all of the pieces of a puzzle with a teacher’s face on it! After the puzzles were completed, they played a quick game of manhunt and grabbed some lunch. The afternoon was then spent doing language-based activities for Language Week and building hedgehog houses.
What a day!
