Pennthorpe is delighted to share another moment of celebration for our community, following the successful publication of our latest Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) report. This good news comes shortly after unveiling our new partnership with Hurstpierpoint College – an exciting collaboration that will create even more opportunities for Pennthorpe pupils as they continue their educational journeys.
A Strong Endorsement from the ISI
During the inspection in November 2025, the ISI confirmed that Pennthorpe meets all Independent School Standards. The report highlights the school’s nurturing, aspirational culture and reflects our continued commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences.
Inspectors praised the warmth and strength of the Pennthorpe community, noting the high-quality curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Pupils were commended for their respectful behaviour, positive attitudes, and considerate relationships with one another.
Exceptional Pastoral Care
The report also recognised Pennthorpe’s strong safeguarding culture and the high standard of pastoral care that sits at the heart of school life. Inspectors observed that pupils feel safe, supported, and valued—an outcome we are incredibly proud of.
