The weather had not been kind in the build-up, but in true Pennthorpe style, we battled on. Year 2 kicked proceedings off with an excellent race that had everything from new school records to children running holding their shoes. It set the tone for a truly epic morning of cross-country running. All competing children showed excellent resilience in the face of wet and muddy running conditions, ably supported by sizeable parent support. Thank you to everyone for their efforts.
