Their trip began scaling the heights of the 20m climbing wall, where they all demonstrated their Spiderman skills and we think a few were in training for the Olympic speed climbing competition!

What goes up must come down and the children successfully abseiled back down to terra firma.

The following day, rain did not stop play and the children took part in archery, orienteering and honed their team-work skills by completing the Challenge Course.

Finally, the fearless Year 5s took a ‘Leap of Faith’ on the High Ropes. They also completed a crate stacking challenge with the reward of a ‘giant swing’ at the end of it.

Mr Mac, Mrs Evans and Mr Bennett were extremely proud of all the children for showing a great deal of resilience, perseverance and collaboration.

Well done Year 5!
