In pairs the children had to find and read a variety of ‘clue cards’ and note down key evidence found. They then had to practise their skills of inference by reasoning their evidence and linking it to a selection of available hats.
Determination and focus were the order of the day to try and match all 16 hats before the end of the lesson.
