The children modelled the body by forming a thumb pot and then rolled clay coils to construct the legs. They used the scratch and slip technique to make sure each part of their frog was joined together carefully. The frogs are now going through a slow drying process before going into our kiln to bake for two days! The Year 3 classes are currently working on the final colour design for their frog, which will be applied using clay glazes to the surface of the bisque fired frogs before they go back into the kiln for the final glaze firing!
