Last Friday, 18 talented Year 7 and Year 8 students from our Chamber Choir brought the magic of Christmas to Aspen Place Care Home. The children, accompanied by the wonderful Mrs Golchin on the piano, filled the room with joy and festive spirit as they performed a delightful selection of Christmas carols.
The programme began with a couple of classic carols, showcasing the choir’s harmonies and the students’ hard work in perfecting their performance. The room soon came alive with smiles and applause from the residents, who were clearly touched by the heartfelt singing.
The highlight of the visit, however, was when the residents joined in for a few beloved carols, creating a heart warming sense of togetherness. The children’s voices blended beautifully with those of the residents, as everyone shared in the joy of the season.
Moments like these remind us of the true spirit of the season—spreading love, joy, and connection. A huge thank you to Mrs Golchin, Mrs Partridge, the Chamber Choir, and the staff at Aspen Place for making this special event possible.
Merry Christmas to all!
