What better way to celebrate summer than with an adventure to the beach? The Year 1 and 2 children enjoyed a day filled with laughter, exploration, and seaside fun, with the weather shining perfectly for the occasion.

Upon arrival, the children eagerly kicked off their shoes and headed straight to the shore. They paddled in the gentle waves, squealing with delight as the sea splashed around their ankles. Some brave little explorers even discovered crabs hiding beneath rocks and seaweed, carefully observing them before releasing them back to their sandy homes.

No beach day would be complete without sandcastle building! Armed with buckets and spades, the children set to work creating towers, moats, and entire sandy kingdoms. A particular highlight was when the children buried their teachers up to their necks in sand—a moment filled with laughter and joy.

After all the excitement, everyone gathered in the shade to enjoy refreshing ice lollies. Sticky fingers and happy faces were everywhere as the sweet treats helped cool things down.

The day was a huge success, full of sunshine, teamwork, and new memories.
