You’re Invited to Experience ‘What We Do’!

We’re delighted to invite you into school for a special afternoon where you’ll get a real taste of the exciting learning that takes place every day. During your visit, you’ll enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, view some of your child’s work, and take a guided tour through six inspiring ‘Learning Zones’ set up across the school.

Each zone – Energise, Explore, Experiment, Perform, Create, Taste, and Programme – offers hands-on activities for you to enjoy alongside your child, all led by our brilliant Heads of Department and enthusiastic Year 7 & 8 pupils.

The event runs from 2:00–4:30pm, with each visit lasting around 90 minutes. Please register below for your preferred session time. You’ll find specific timings for your Arrival, Afternoon Tea, Tour, and Departure — and we kindly ask that you stick closely to your schedule so that every family can enjoy the full experience.

Honey Pot and Beehive children are welcome to stay in their setting while parents tour with older siblings. However, please ensure they are booked in through the usual channels (Parent Portal or extendedday@pennthorpe.com) so we can manage staff-to-child ratios appropriately.

To secure your place, please complete the form by 4:00pm on Thursday 8th May. You’ll need to fill out a form for each adult attending, and due to space limitations, we can welcome a maximum of two adults per family.

At your Departure Time, you’re welcome to take your child with you — just make sure your child is ‘Blobbed Out’ with a member of staff at the Front Gate. Please note that hobbies will continue as usual on the day.
