The session always starts with a warm-up to make sure that no muscles get pulled! You can see in the photos below some of the body stretches that they have learnt so far.

After they are sufficiently warm, they move on to practice some of their gymnastics moves. This week they were focusing on their floor work. Ms Wadman set up a number of pieces of apparatus for everyone to practice their forwards and backwards rolls. As they get more confident, they are encouraged to build on their skills. We can’t wait to see how incredible they will be at the end of this term!
