Pennthorpe offers a fantastic range of extra-curricular activities for pupils across the school. The programme of activities available are there to offer academic improvement, fitness, the challenge of learning a new skill or improving an existing one, or just sheer fun! We call these Flexiday Activities at Pennthorpe, and hope that participation will help our children to build their confidence, make friends and inspire their future path. Our extra-curricular programme is designed to support Pennthorpe’s core values.
After school clubs usually run immediately following the end of the school day and times vary according to the age of the child. FREE activities are offered for children in Pre-Prep to support parents who are collecting older siblings – this avoids two collections! All children are provided with a snack and a drink before their activity.
There is also Prep which runs Monday to Friday which is free of charge. There are a variety of Prep’s, supervised by academic staff and unsupervised, to help prepare the children effectively for the next steps in their educational journey.
The extra-curricular activities on offer changes each term, and the programme is published to parents in the few weeks before the start of each new term.
