In topic the children explored Mardi Gras and designed their own masks and wrote some awesome facts!
As it has been Wellbeing Week, the class has focused on kindness, positivity and gratitude. The children have enjoyed creating kindness and gratitude rocks, discussing their thoughts and feelings and recognizing what they are thankful for.
In computing Year 1 have been learning about internet safety, the children listened to a story about Smartie the penguin and helped him make the correct choices when exploring the internet and games. They designed their own Smartie the penguin and wrote down the rules of online safety.
In art they enjoyed expressing themselves through painting, the children cannot wait to bring home their artistic creations.
