They tested how strong the ‘party popper killer’ needed to be to use their weapon of choice, whether the killer took sugar in their coffee, and whether they had taken aspirin. They also looked at fingerprint and fibre samples too before finally exposing the killer by carrying out a chromatography investigation.
The killer was identified as…Mr Dempster the Bursar!
