As a team, their task was to come up with a new ‘national holiday’ that could be celebrated. They had to think about what people would want a ‘day’ for, when in the calendar it would be celebrated, and how people might want to mark the day. They were allowed to take a day that already exists but isn’t widely celebrated, or could come up with their own idea.
There were a wide variety from NHS day to Social Media Blackout Day! It was a really difficult decision for our judges, but they decided that the winners were ‘Environment Day’!
