ARISE, which stands for Anti-Racism in Schools, was founded in 2020. It aims to educate children of all ages about racism and the importance of being actively anti-racist.

The children enjoyed listening to stories, sharing their views, deciding what to do in a ‘true or false’ scenario game and creating posters to spread awareness of the importance of being anti-racist. The children were able to discuss the importance of not only tolerance, one of our Pennthorpe Purpose values, but celebration of diversity and other cultures.
