Pennthorpe School behaviour and discipline policy
Our aim with discipline is to guide children towards a set of values based on Christian principles and, in particular, to encourage the qualities of helpfulness, honesty, courage, responsibility, service and courtesy which are embodied in our school motto: NON NOBIS SOLUM NATI - BORN NOT FOR OURSELVES ALONE. Discipline is built upon the premise that good manners and sensible behaviour are in the interests both of the individual and of the community. Rewards and sanctions are designed to promote good behaviour and to sustain the harmony of the community.
PENNTHORPE'S GOLDEN RULES
